GoldSpring Consulting Adds Industry Veterans to Team

Pamela McTeer, Catherine Craig and Elaine Phelps Join Independent Travel Consultancy

WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA March 6, 2017 – GoldSpring Consulting LLC announces the addition of three travel industry veterans to the consulting team, effective immediately. Pamela McTeer, formerly Director of Business Services and Global Travel, Meetings and Events for The Coca-Cola Company, joins as a Senior Consultant based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Catherine Craig will serve as Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region out of Brisbane, Australia, and Elaine Phelps joins as a Senior Consultant, based out of Chicago, Illinois.

Both McTeer and Phelps bring a wealth of experience to the GoldSpring team. McTeer will focus on corporate travel assessments with a special focus on strategic meetings management programs for the company, while Phelps will primarily focus on travel management company, online booking tool and hotel client engagements.

The addition of Craig expands the consultancy’s international footprint, building on the company’s previously-established strategic global partnership with Nina & Pinta, with offices in London, England and Johannesburg, South Africa.

About Pamela McTeer
Pamela brings 20 years of travel industry experience to the GoldSpring team. Most recently, she served as Director of Business Services and Global Travel, Meetings and Events for The Coca-Cola Company. She began her career at BCD Travel, leaving after seven years for MillerCoors, where she served as Strategic Sourcing Manager. She then joined First Data Corporation as Global Strategic Sourcing Director where she served for three years before moving to Coca-Cola.

Pamela brings excellent business acumen, coupled with strong negotiation, analytic skills, and relationship management skills to clients, which allow her to successfully deliver business-oriented strategies focused on cost reduction and containment, supplier rationalization, business transformation and operational improvement. Pam’s focus for GoldSpring will be on corporate travel assessments with a special focus on strategic meetings management programs for the company, an area in which she has extensive experience. About Catherine Craig
Catherine brings 30 years of travel industry experience in senior positions spanning the airline, travel management company (TMC) and car rental sectors to the GoldSpring team. She began her career with Qantas Airways, where she served in a variety of business to business capacities. She then served as National Sales Manager for Synergi, National Sales & Marketing Manager for Maxims Travel, and National Manager – TMC for Europcar before starting her own company, CDC Consulting Group Pty Ltd, in December 2014.

Catherine is a focused and results driven industry specialist with extensive business to business experience, and is widely acknowledged among her peers as being committed to delivering outstanding results. She takes a holistic approach to client engagements and focuses on the issues to source the best strategies and solutions to meet clients’ needs. Elaine brings more than 30 years of experience in the travel industry to the GoldSpring team. Beginning her career as a travel consultant, she later moved on to managing reservations teams and on-site corporate agents. Elaine has provided account management support with GDS and online travel companies, including Galileo International, Orbitz for Business and Egencia. She has also led implementation projects and consulted with customers on approaches to more effectively manage their travel programs.
