GoldSpring Consulting Promotes Kevin Iwamoto to Senior Vice President

Dallas, Texas – October 30, 2018 – GoldSpring Consulting, a leader in business travel and meetings consultancy, announced today the promotion of Kevin Iwamoto, GLP, GTP, to senior vice president (SVP).  While continuing to oversee and ensure GoldSpring client success through travel optimization, Iwamoto’s expanded responsibilities will include business development, marketing and strategic industry alliances.

Iwamoto is a globally recognized industry influencer and subject matter expert in corporate travel, procurement, and strategic meetings management.  In July 2018, he was named one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in the meetings industry for the third time in five years by Successful Meetings magazine. He is former president & CEO of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) board of directors.  Among other countless industry accolades, he has been named Business Travel News (BTN) Travel Manager of the Year, one of the BTN Top 25 Most Influential Executives, and he received the rarely bestowed GBTA Industry Icon Award.

Before joining GoldSpring, Iwamoto served as vice president of industry strategy at Lanyon.  Prior to Lanyon he was senior global category manager, global travel and strategic meetings management for Hewlett-Packard.  He also served as a senior account manager with The Walt Disney Company.
