This is something that your TMC should be able to report to you. If they are not already, then likely they will and will also want to focus more fees on this activity, but that's another conversation.. However, remember that the key point in the refundable/non refundable discussion is that the non-refundable loss rate is the indicator of what really needs to be changed
Hi Neil, we pay our TMC a management fee, therefore our TMC is unable to produce this report. We have had this challenge for years. Our staff do tend to change frequently ( (although candidly we have no TMC data to suppor this) therefore we historically go with the "book down" fares although you indicated most airlines no longer offer these, they offer them to us.
Maruca. our GoldSpring TMC experts tell me they believe that TMCs do have the capability to track exchanges, voids, refunds. This should be independent of the billing set up. Perhaps they can, but have not done this for you.
Regarding Book Downs. Indeed, perhaps I should rephrase. a number of years ago, you had no choice on the international markets. Now the default is class to class but you can get book downs if you request. I have seen some deals where both are included.
