With 30 years of experience in the travel industry, Sean Parham, GTP, has been instrumental in the development and management of the travel programs for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Guess Inc., Hilton Worldwide and Riot Games, and the parent company of Snapchat, Snap Inc., in Los Angeles.

 

His areas of expertise include travel, meetings, corporate card, fleet and duty of care. Sean served on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Business Travel Association for 10 years from 2006 to 2016, including two terms as chapter president. He also served on the Delta Air Lines’ Technology Advisory Board for two consecutive years from 2015-2016.

Carmen Smith - Sr. Manager of Travel & Events at ICF

With an impressive 25+ years of experience in the Travel Industry, Carmen spent several years operating her own Travel Consulting firm which included advising Sports Teams Management, Government and Commercial clientele. Carmen has worked the better part of her career providing valuable insight to the Travel industry as a recognized expert in the field and has personally assisted several companies in building state-of-the-art Travel programs.

 

As Global Travel Manager at ICF, she oversees a team of Travel, Meeting & Events professionals as well as the dedicated travel agent team; all of whom are collectively responsible for the day-to-day operations of ICF’s direct and indirect business travel. Carmen is an active member of GBTA and the TAMs Community. She also hosted a biweekly webinar on the Return to Travel, Post Pandemic along with her other panel appearances. Carmen is a recipient of the 2020 GBTA Service Award and the 2021 Top 50 Women in Travel. Carmen hosted a webcast series during the pandemic entitled "Proposed Project Plan Return to Travel - Post Covid 19". As a prominent expert in her field, you can find Carmen speaking on various topics across the Travel industry.

Tracie Saunders joined Segal three years ago to manage corporate travel and events with more than a decade of experience in the travel industry. She is skilled in the execution of procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management strategies related to air, hotel, car rental and ground transportation with a focus on employee satisfaction, cost containment and safety. Travel is always an ever-changing landscape and with the pandemic’s influence, she feels that being open to innovation and new practices will be critical to successfully managing travel moving forward.
