Tony O'Connor

Tony has been running the region’s most successful travel procurement consultancy, Butler Caroye, since 1998. Over that time, he has managed and advised hundreds of large complex travel reviews, audits and tenders, across TMC, travel IT, airline, accommodation, ground transport and payments.

Tony is also the Australasian Director of the GBTA. In 2018 he won the GBTA Business Travel Service Award. His articles on business travel are published globally, and he has spoken at many international conferences over the past twenty years. Prior to travel procurement, Tony was a financial analyst and stockbroker dealing in Asian markets. His specialty is building rigorous and efficient measurement and assessment tools and processes. He is known for being thorough, fair and ethical.
