Carrie Garnett is an analyst at GoldSpring Consulting, specializing in the air and hotel product lines. Carrie has played many roles over the course of her career in the travel industry.
She began in 2010 as an Account Executive with EmpireCLS Worldwide Chauffeured Services, supporting the company’s business development efforts and client relationship management.
In 2017, Carrie joined Toyota Motor North America as part of the Travel and Events team. During her tenure, she navigated through a company-wide travel policy mandate, completed a holistic restructuring of the hotel program and founded the department’s communications strategy.
She is passionate about changing the negative “millennial” stereotype in the industry and spoke at the Global Business Travel Association’s annual convention in 2019 on the topic. Carrie went on to join FCM Travel Solutions consulting arm, 4th Dimension, in 2020. Her primary focus was on hotel sourcing strategy and improving data integrity.
Throughout 2020, Carrie made the most of her sabbatical mastering Green Bay Packer's jigsaw puzzles, having dance parties with her puppy Mia and obtaining several consultant certifications through TripBam and GoldSpring Consulting. She continues to pursue continuing education and plans to obtain her Global Travel Professional (GTP) certification in the near future.
