Dale Eastlund
Senior Consultant
Dale Eastlund brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate travel, airline distribution, and technology partnerships to GoldSpring Consulting. Known for bridging the gap between business strategy and complex technical environments, his career has focused on managing supplier relationships, protecting corporate interests during major industry shifts, and driving value that supports corporate client success.
He recently concluded a 25-year career at CWT, where he served as Vice President of Global Technology Partnerships and Commercial Strategy. In this role, Dale directed global travel technology and distribution strategy across GDS, online booking tools (OBTs), and content aggregators. He also steered
the commercial direction for the broader travel technology landscape, managing a portfolio of supplier partnerships that covered everything from price optimization, sustainability, duty of care, and passport and visa service providers. During his time in this role, he negotiated major global agreements that drove revenue and cost savings, while overseeing the IATA relationship to ensure compliance and reduce enterprise risk.
Earlier in his career at CWT, Dale built a diverse track record across several core business functions. He initially led the North American Solutions & Consulting group, where he grew revenue and introduced new business lines. He then moved into account management, directing relationships for the company's largest global corporate clients to build long-term, high-trust partnerships. More recently, he served as a global subject matter expert during the formative stages of NDC, spearheading the "Next Gen Air Distribution" initiative to centralize the company's approach to shifting airline distribution models.
Dale began his career at Northwest Airlines, where he managed revenue-generating pricing programs and worked with revenue management teams to align pricing with market demand.
Dale joins GoldSpring with deep expertise in airline distribution, online booking tools, supplier negotiations, and commercial strategy — and a proven track record of helping organizations navigate complex change.
He holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
