How do you think contractual language, legal compliance will read present/post-Covid?
We have already seen some changes in contracts regarding cancel and attrition flexibility, force majeure language now including pandemic, health and safety required protocols for your meeting, and hotel formulas changed for number of sleeping room and attendee ratios compared to larger meeting space needs. As more and more meetings are booked we will see further updates to contracts. It is important to consult with your legal department as they most likely will have knowledge from other areas of the company to support you.
